This is a portrait project, named “Luiza”, in which I captured aspects of the day to day life of Luiza, in her home in the countryside of Brazil. I wanted to explore the daily occurrences of being a gender non-conforming woman, in a country poisoned by LGBTQ+phobia/queerphobia and toxic theology.
